About
Over the years, there have been a few books that have had a big impact on my life. The first one was Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. His book was a great primer to the mindset of spending your money on passive, income-producing assets (instead of discretionary stuff) and on the benefits of leveraging other people’s money (”OPM”) to speed up the process of wealth creation. Kiyosaki’s book was a bit light though on the “how-to” part of putting the mindset into practice.
The second book, The Millionaire Maker by Loral Langemeier, had more of the practical side of getting yourself set up to create wealth. It is through this book and one of her mentoring programs that gave me the jumpstart I needed to begin acquiring real, income-producing assets for myself.
Another book that had a huge influence on me was Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker. While Kiyosaki’s book was about the types of things wealthy people do, Eker’s book was all about their psychology. As a result of reading this book, I attended Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive. After experiencing this 3-day event and religiously practicing the 90-day workbook given out there, my life started to really take off.
I have now become completely addicted to learning about the many ways passive income can be created. I still have much to learn on this topic, however I started this blog to share in my journey along the way. On this blog you will find an exploration of different passive income opportunities, having both small and not-so-small levels of risk. Topics you can expect to find on this blog include discussion on cash back credit cards, interest-paying bank accounts, dividend-yielding stocks, promissory notes, intellectual property, investment real estate, businesses and other direct participation investments.
What you won’t find too much talk of here though is on being frugal. The reason for this is two-fold. There are already many excellent blogs out there that have this topic well covered. Secondly, although living below your means is absolutely essential in wealth creation, I wanted to focus this blog on ways to increase net income by growing the top line.
I invite you to sign up for my tutorial on getting free money, which describes how you can start your first passive income machine through a simple application of OPM. You can use the tutorial’s methods to create additional seed money toward funding your own income-producing asset portfolio.
Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you around on the blog!
